The Bristologist is set to open on November 10, promising guests food inspired cocktails and innovative menus in the heart of the Bristol bar scene.

The kitchen is headed up by Darren Farquharson who will be cooking up a vibrant “slates and plates” menu as well as Sunday roasts. There will also be a £9 All You Can Eat business lunch option as well as a steak menu. Customers will be able to choose their cut and see it carved at their table before it is taken to the kitchen to be cooked to their exact specification.

The Bristologist is the brainchild of owner James Sleeman. He said:

“I am so excited to be opening The Bristologist. Eating out should be fun and entertaining and that is exactly what we have set out to achieve. I think that what we have created in The Bristologist is something truly unique. Nowhere else in the area can you enjoy such fantastic and interesting food and drink offerings with such theatrical flair.”

The cocktail menu is a house speciality and guests should be prepared for unusual flavours and daring presentation. Customer interaction is the cornerstone of The Bristologist’s ideology. For every cocktail ordered, people will have the chance to “flip” for a second for free while those ordering a roast will also have the chance to win their meal.

The Bristologist will be headed up by Christian Abbott, with years of experience in the hospitality industry, as General Manager. Owner, James Sleeman added:

“Christian has brought in Darren Farquharson to head up the kitchen,  he has previously worked under the award-winning Chef  Abbott for a number of years  so I know he is an immensely talented young chef and ready for his first head chef position - I am thrilled to have him on board.”

The Bristologist will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is set to offer the people of Bristol an exciting new gastronomic venue.
