John Burton-Race's The New Angel restaurant in Notting Hill has crafted a three course menu showcasing the best in edible flowers and greenery to celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show happening next month.

The three AA Rosette awarded restaurant is doing it’s best to ensure that more than one area of London will be synonymous with the famous week in May when green fingered enthusiasts descend on the capital.

The Chelsea Flower Show menu, consisting of three courses and an accompanying glass of Laurent Perrier Cuvée Rosé, showcases John Burton-Race’s creativity when it comes to designing menus. The meal begins with a spring-like starter of hand-dived Orkney scallops, and crab, which will be complemented with luscious green nasturtium leaves and delicate cucumber flowers.

Continuing with these fresh and creative flavours, the main course offers new season lamb with the delicious sweet and nutty accompaniment of courgette flower. This spring-like main will again showcase The New Angel’s creativity and dedication to fresh produce.

The finale of this show stopping menu is set to compete aesthetically with the gardens on display at Chelsea Flower Show, as the delightful dessert combines stunning reds, whites and flecks of green, with varied textures, which are enough to entice any diner to indulge in this meticulously presented plate. Rose petals, placed carefully onto this dish, add to the romanticism as well as flavour of this divine dessert.

The menu to celebrate Chelsea Flower Show will be available at The New Angel, Notting Hill from 19th May – 23rd May exclusively and will be charged at £62 per person.
