Nathan Outlaw steps down from The Mariners, Rock
<
Chef and restaurateur Nathan Outlaw announced earlier today on Instagram that he will be stepping down from The Mariners in Rock.
- When will Outlaw's at the Capital close?
- When will Nathan Outlaw open a restaurant in The Goring Hotel?
After five years, Nathan confirmed that he and his team will step down from the partnership with Sharps Brewery from the end of January 2019.
In the post, he also mentioned that "Sharps Brewery is committed to the future of The Mariners" and that they would be "announcing exciting future plans soon".
The site was launched by Nathan and Sharps Brewery in 2014. Head chef Zack Hawke was a part of the team from the opening. Working with Nathan, the menu showcased the best of Cornish produce, with meat and fish cooked on coals.
The news of Nathan's departure has come only a month after he announced that he would be ending his partnership with The Capital hotel in Knightsbridge. It was shortly after this that The Goring in Belgravia confirmed a new as-yet-unnamed seafood restaurant with Nathan would be launching in Spring 2019. He said: “Creating a new restaurant with such an iconic British hotel is a huge highlight in my career. I can't wait to get cooking!”
Nathan currently has two other businesses in Port Isaac, Cornwall: two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Nathan Outlaw and Outlaw's Fish Kitchen.
