Michelin-starred The Ledbury tops OpenTable top 100 restaurants in the UK list

The Ledbury, holder of two stars in the Michelin Guide UK, has been voted the UK's number one restaurant by OpenTable diners.

The Lebury remains in pole position fending off competition from the likes of Gordon Ramsay's self-titled restaurant which has three stars in the Michelin Guide UK and Heston Blumenthal's two Michelin-starred, Dinner to claim the top spot in OpenTable's 100 best restaurant in the UK 2016 list.

1) The Ledbury
The Ledbury opened in 2005, with Brett Graham as Head Chef ,supported by a young and energetic team including Sous Chef Greg Austin, and Restaurant Manager Darren McHugh.

2) The Five Fields

Chef Patron Taylor Bonnyman, working in collaboration with Head Chef Marguerite Keogh offers elegant and playful modern British cooking with an emphasis on native British produce, much of which coming from the restaurant's own kitchen garden.

3) Dinner by Heston Blumenthal

Opened January 21st 2011, Focusing on the revival and modernisation of traditional British recipes, the menu at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal features simple contemporary dishes inspired by Britain"s historic gastronomic past and recipes.

4) Chez Bruce

Bruce Poole and Nigel Platts-Martin opened Chez Bruce in 1995. From the outset, it was their intention to serve the very best food and drink but within a relaxed, informal yet thoroughly professionally orchestrated environment.

5) The Art School Restaurant

The Art School Restaurant is located in the stunning lantern room of the Victorian 1888 ‘Home for Destitute children’ building on Sugnall Street and is merely a stones throw away from Hope Street and Liverpool city centre.

6) The French Table

You can expect a warm welcome at The French Table. Seasonal changing menus using top quality ingredients carefully sourced from a small team of suppliers.

7) Typing Room

Town Hall Hotel’s restaurant by Chef Lee Westcott, Typing Room, has opened to critical acclaim. The 40-cover restaurant is Lee’s first solo venture and offers a refined European menu showcasing and focusing on the British seasons.
