Michelin-starred chefs Claude Bosi, Daniel Clifford, Tom Kerridge and Paul Cunningham hosted a special fundraising evening earlier this week in aid of industry charity Hospitality Action.

The unique event took place within the Brasserie Joël at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London on Monday and saw chefs the from The Hand & Flowers, Hibiscus, Midsummer House and Henne Kirkeby Kro come together for a great cause.

Paul Cunningham said: “I was delighted to be asked to take part in this exceptional fundraising event on behalf of Hospitality Action. Tom, Daniel, Claude and I were all keen to give something back to the industry which has treated us so well.

“The funds raised will mean that many hospitality workers in need this Christmas won’t feel so alone and we are all very pleased to have been able to make this possible.”

With six Michelin stars and 14 AA Rosettes between them, the elite line-up came together to produce an exceptional fine dining menu with the help of Brasserie Joël’s Head Chef Walter Ishizuka. Courses included warm pork pie with pickled onion, sage puree and mead gravy prepared by Tom Kerridge and Australian Wagyu Rump Cap, braised oxtail, spinach puree, creamed potato and braising juice by Daniel Clifford and Freedown Food.

Penny Moore, chief executive at Hospitality Action, said: “Our stellar line-up of chefs really did us proud! Over £27,000 was raised which is a great end to another successful year of fundraising! We are extremely thankful to all of our chefs and sponsors and particularly the team at Brasserie Joël for all their support over the past few months.”

Attendees at the event included well-known figures from the industry such as Brian Turner CBE and John Williams MBE.

Hospitality Action is holding a Christmas fundraising auction with a wide variety of lots on offer. More information on that can be found via their website.
