Michelin Guide UK 2023: 3 new two stars and 20 new one stars in Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland 2023
The Michelin Guide 2023 has announced the list of new Michelin Stars and Green Stars.
After unveiling its Bib Gourmands last week, today we found out who has been awarded Michelin stars and Green stars for 2023.
New three stars
There are no new three stars additions in Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland 2023
New two stars
Ledbury, Kensington & Chelsea – Brett Graham
Commenting on the news, the Ledbury's Head Chef, Tom Spenceley, said in a post on social media: "Absolutely honoured to Head up the Kitchen Team alongside Brett and bring back home Two Michelin Stars to The Ledbury."
He added: "This would not be possible without all of the teams relentless endeavour, commitment and dedication. Great Achievements like this make all of the sacrifices we make worth it. This is Just the Beginning."
Alex Dilling at Hotel Café Royal, City of Westminster – Alex Dilling
Dede, Baltimore, Republic of Ireland – Ahmet Dede
Promoted from One MICHELIN Star
Commenting on Dede's win, Ahmet said in a post on his instagram: "Feeling blessed, can’t wait to get back home and celebrate with my team, people of WestCork, our suppliers, friends and family. We just made a history."

Winning a star six months after opening, Alex said: "One Michelin Star! Last night was surreal, 6 months to the day we opened The Tudor Pass - a big thank you to my amazing team!"

Thanking David Taylor and others, the restaurant said: "Huge thanks to David Taylor, our Chef Director, and Anette Taylor, our house manager, who have led the team through the first hard year of opening, blown our minds with the food and embedded it all with depth and personal warmth."
They added: "Hats off to John Bluck who has instilled the team with energy and focus, foraged his way across the Midlands and has deservedly been promoted to head chef."

Commenting on Ben's win, The South Lodge Hotel said: "We are extremely excited and proud to share that The Pass, with Ben Wilkinson at the helm, was awarded a Michelin star following the highly anticipated @michelinguide announcement event last night, straight off the back of its recent three AA Rosettes."
They added: "Congratulations to the team, both in the kitchen and front of house, on achieving the recognition they deserve and all within seven months of reopening."

After it was announced they were one of 20 new Michelin one stars, Heft commented: "It’s not often we’re lost for words but here we are. Over the moon to have just received a Michelin star in this year’s guide. We’ll write something more profound tomorrow but right now we have some Champagne to drink!"

The famed little red book was let go when the guide went fully digital in 2021 due to the pandemic. Having developed a proprietary iOS app, Michelin said the move would allow it to publish the global guide in one place, to be distributed free of charge, thus reaching a much wider audience.
