Michelin Guide UK 2022: special awards winners given Michelin stars in 2022 Guide for Great Britain and Ireland
The Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland has awarded michelin stars to three Special Awards winners, as it begins the reveal of new accolades for 2022
Trivet, in Southwark, received a star, as did SY23 in Aberystwyth and the Selby brothers' restaurant, Evelyn's Table.
Stay tuned for live coverage of the new stars in the 2022 Guide for Great Britain and Ireland
Last month, the Guide announced that it would reveal new stars, green stars and special awards for Great Britain and Ireland via a digital presentation, revealing the additions on social media and as news on the Michelin website. It announced the list of Bib Gourmands for 2022 on Friday.
The famed little red book was let go when the guide went fully digital in 2021 due to the pandemic. Having developed a proprietary iOS app, Michelin said the move would allow it to publish the global guide in one place, to be distributed free of charge, thus reaching a much wider audience.
