Mews of Mayfair make changes to their management team
Mews, the restaurant and bar brand in Lancashire Court comprising of Mews of Mayfair, Mayfair Pizza Co., La Cave and the new Cartizze Bar, has had a reshuffle at the top of their management team.
Gavin Hovingh, operations manager
His appointment to operations manager will see him focus on the financial growth of Mews of Mayfair, continue to implement a successful marketing strategy and oversee the development of all four brands under the Mews umbrella.
Julia Chiu, general manager
Julia has over 16 years of experience in the hospitality sector with previous managerial roles at W Hotel, Bodo’s Schloss and Peyote Restaurant. Having previously set up and managed the bar at Mews of Mayfair, Julia has returned to oversee the daily running of the business, which includes human resource management and training, handling evening operations and developing and promoting bar menus.
Michael Lecouteur, executive chef
Having worked in a number of AA rosette kitchens, Michael has been appointed executive chef following his successful role as head chef of Mews of Mayfair and Mayfair Pizza Co.
Before joining the team Michael was head chef at Smiths of Smithfield.
Ben Harrington, head chef
Ben Harrington, previously of Sea Containers at Mondrian London, Claridge’s and Union Street Café, brings 11 years’ experience to Mews of Mayfair having recently been appointed head chef.
Managing Director James Robson said: “It has taken us close to ten years to collect our five leases and create four successful brands within Lancashire Court. I am excited to lead the team in their new roles and trust their experience and skills will help develop and expand our brand beyond our cobbled mews”.
