Liam started his career at St Michael's Manor in St Albans at just 15 years old. Since then, he has worked for Philip Howard at The Square, Kitchen W8 in Kensingston and at Brett Graham's two Michelin starred The Ledbury.
He is currently working as senior sous chef at Fenchurch resturant at Sky Garden, alongside head chef Dan Fletcher. Liam was also a quarter finalist on MasterChef: The Professionals 2015.
Why did you enter National Chef of the Year?
Honestly, I think that I love putting myself into situations that truly test me to the best of my ability. Regardless of the outcome, I'm learning and growing as a chef with each new experience.
How did it feel to get through to the final?
Getting through to the final is the best feeling ever! So much hard work went into getting to this stage in my career - it felt like it had finally paid off.
