L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon celebrates Goût de France
Restaurant L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon in London will be celebrating the Goût de France on March 19, with a specially selected six-course menu.
Goût de France is a project curated by the French Chamber of Commerce. It will be celebrated across the world with menus showcasing French food and its values. Diners are given the chance to share, enjoy and respect the values of high quality, environmentally responsible French cuisine.
As one of 21 UK establishments chosen to take part in the French celebration, which is being celebrated across the world with 1300 chefs taking part, head chef Xavier Boyer is set to impress with dishes inspired by the gastronomic landscape of France.
Xavier Boyer, head chef, said: “Our special Goût de France menu is a good example of the inspiration I get from using the wonderful, seasonal foods that are available in the UK and further afield.”
Incorporating good quality seasonal ingredients with traditional French methods and creative, contemporary ideas, the menu is set to be a luxurious way to celebrate the day. Xavier said: “At L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon in London, we pride ourselves on preparing contemporary French cuisine, which is uncomplicated, beautifully presented, combining classic French inspiration and the best possible ingredients delivered daily.”
Other UK venues taking part in the event include Mirabelle in Harrogate and Hutcheson’s in Glasgow.
The exclusive six-course menu at at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon’s London restaurant in Covent Garden, is priced at £110 and does not include wine. The menu will feature for one day only on Thursday, March 19, 2015 – the eve of spring.
