For the first time in a history that spans almost a century, The Ivy restaurant in London’s theatreland is set to open for weekday breakfast from Tuesday, 10 May.

Executive Chef Gary Lee has created a menu featuring English breakfast classics, including a traditional Full English (£16.50) and Vegetarian Breakfast (£14.00), as well as an entire section dedicated to eggs (from £4.50). There will also be some lighter options such as the Super Seed Bowls (£8.00); raw superfood-packed bowls of chia, flax and oats, soaked for maximum nutritional gain and served with an option of dairy-free milks, plus plenty of fresh fruit (from £3.75).

A selection of homemade breads will form the ‘Bakery’ section, accompanied by nut butters, crunchy gianduja spread or traditional jams (£4.75), and for those feeling more indulgent, Waffles (£9.75), Pancakes (£9.50) and French Toast (£6.50) will be available.

Coffee beans will come from family-run British roaster, Street&Co, along with a bespoke Peruvian espresso and a medium roast Kenyan filter coffee. There will also be a selection of specialty teas from The East India tea Company, plus fresh juices including a Market Greens Juice of the Day (£5.00) and a healthy Morning Tonic, made up of lemon, cayenne, turmeric, agave, cider vinegar and sparkling water (£4.00). The Ivy relaunched to critical acclaim last summer following a five month closure, signalling a new era for the restaurant, whilst also encapsulating some of the best loved elements from the past.

The new table layout and interior provide a stylish, original and sophisticated breakfast setting. Breakfast will be served at The Ivy West Street from Tuesday, 10 May, from 8am to 10.30am, Monday to Friday.
