Head Chef, Igor Tymchyshyn, accepts Chef Patron role at the 3 AA awarded French restaurant, Orrery.

Igor joined the D&D London restaurant, Orrery, as Head Chef in April 2008 and uses 'only the best' British ingredients and locally sourced produce when creating his dishes.

Igor's menu changes almost daily and his 'passion' has been a real driving force that has made the Orrery such an iconic London establishment.

D&D London’s Managing Director, David Loewi said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Igor has accepted the role of chef patron at Orrery. His passionate approach to cooking has established Orrery as a beloved destination among Marylebone locals and Londoners alike and truly deserves its recent 3 AA Rosette accolade.”

Recently refurbished in May 2015, Orrery is a luxury French restaurant in the heart of Marylebone, boasting an elegant dining room on the first floor of a converted stable block with a stunning view overlooking St Marylebone Church gardens through large arched windows.

It offers a menu of unashamedly luxurious French cooking reflected in dishes such as this season’s Truffle and potato ravioli topped with mushrooms and butter emulsion; Dorset sea bass, herbed crust, wild mushroom, horseradish cream and beetroot; Partridge, braised cabbage, pancetta, orange and jus; and Citrus and Bourbon vanilla crème brûlée and clementine sorbet. It also has a legendary cheese trolley showcasing an impressive selection farmhouse cheeses.

Igor previously worked at the Michelin-starred Mirabelle restaurant in London’s Mayfair as Head Chef. Igor joined Mirabelle as a sous chef in 1999 before quickly being promoted to senior sous chef in 2000. Earlier experiences also include other Michelin-starred establishments such as sous chef at L’Oranger (1998) and Head Chef at Maison Novelli (1996).
