The acclaimed British chef is bringing Tom’s Kitchen favourites to Harrods’ food halls as the world-famous department store announce that on Thursday 6th November 2014, Michelin-starred Tom Aikens will join their Food Halls as guest chef for the store’s ongoing foodie campaign, Chef of the Season.

For four months, the founder of the neighbourhood favourite Tom’s Kitchen restaurants will offer an exclusive selection of dishes-to-go inspired by his love of comfort food-style cooking. The range will be presented in his own dedicated area within the traiteur counter.

Classic Christmas dishes will be made available until Friday 2nd January 2015, including roast turkey breast and trimmings, and a venison casserole with cranberry and root vegetable mash. Accompanying larger dishes will be a selection of canapés, perfect for entertaining at home over the festive period: turkey rillettes, beetroot-cured salmon, seven-hour lamb croquettes, and a sweet chocolate hot pot.

From the first week of January until the end of February, Aikens’ menu will be updated to warming winter starters, mains and puddings, such as spicy crab cakes, braised beef cheeks, and apple and Calvados tart with maple syrup ice-cream.

An innovative style and creative interpretation of modern French cuisine have made Tom one of the UK’s most inspiring chefs.
