Hakkasan Group to launch Yauatcha City in London’s Broadgate Circle
Hakkasan Group are set to launch Yauatcha City in London’s Broadgate Circle next month as it joins the new culinary destination in the city.
Launching on 20th May, Yauatcha City will be one of the key restaurants to join Broadgate Circle located on the border of East London and the Square Mile. Yauatcha City will be the latest restaurant by Hakkasan Group, leader in global hospitality, dining, nightlife and entertainment, and the second Yauatcha in London following the success of its Michelin-starred restaurant in Soho.
The menu at Yauatcha City will embody the Chinese dim sum teahouse concept, where friends and family gather to catch up over excellent dim sum, wok dishes, tea and cocktails. It will present authentic Cantonese dishes with a modern influence, offering a wide range of steamed, baked, grilled and fried dim sum such as Scallop shui mai, Prawn and beancurd cheung fun and Venison puffs. To complement the cuisine, the drinks menu will comprise 38 types of tea, as well as cocktails inspired by Chinese ingredients and a broad wine and Champagne list.
A first for the company, Yauatcha City will see the launch of a standalone Yauatcha Patisserie on the level below the main restaurant, where Chinese heritage and modern European cooking techniques have inspired the pastry team, led by executive pastry chef Graham Hornigold, to create an array of macarons, petits gateaux and chocolates.
Designed by French designers GBRH, the 198 cover restaurant is 7,220 square foot with two bars and two terraces, each seating 50 guests. The restaurant will encompass the key design elements and characteristics from Yauatcha Soho including aquariums, starlit ceilings, visible kitchens and the
