László Nagy, Is Head Chef of the Nags Head in Tarporley, is one of four chefs competing for the North West region on Great British Menu 2023.

Series 18 of the competition starts on January 31 2023 on BBC Two at 8pm and will air for eight weeks.

László is going head to head with chefs Sam Grainger, Danielle Heron and Caroline Martins in a bid to represent the North West in the regional finals, and ultimately cook a dish at the final banquet.

Before joining the Nags Head in Tarporley, László was the head chef of Hypha, which won a Michelin Green Award in 2021. He has also worked at Balthazar restaurant London (with Robert Reid) and Panoramic34 Liverpool.

This is László's first time competing in Great British Menu.

Feelings stepping onto the GBM set

It was nerve racking but such a great feeling in the same time.
