BBC announces two new food industry shows starring Aiden Byrne, Russell Norman and Simon Rogan

The TV industry's interest in the inner workings of the restaurant world shows no sign of slowing down after the BBC announced it had commissioned two new shows about the process of launching a restaurant which will star Russell Norman, Simon Rogan and Aiden Byrne.

Chef killed over meal: customers kill chef over unsatisfactory noodle dish

A chef has been killed over a meal on the German holiday island of Sylt, according to reports. Popular Japanese chef, Miki Nozawa, is said to have gotten into a dispute with two guests about a dish of fried noodles.

Hiroshima's first Michelin Guide includes three star restaurant


The “Michelin Guide Hiroshima 2013 Special Edition,” written in Japanese, features 362 restaurants and hotels, of which 30 were awarded star ratings.

One Japanese restaurant, Nakashima, won a three-star rating, while five won a two-star rating. A one-star rating was awarded to 23 restaurants.
