Breakfast like a king: Hotel serves up UK's most expensive fry-up at £120
A HOTEL is taking indulgence to new extremes by serving up Britain's most expensive breakfast - costing a jaw-dropping £120. The meal - dubbed 'the UK's most luxurious breakfast' - includes imported Balik salmon, two duck eggs, Oscetra caviar, creme fraiche and mini brioche. Guests can wash it down with a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne.

Twenty Chicago restaurants earned a coveted Michelin star, including five first-time recipients: EL Ideas, the highly creative restaurant in Pilsen; Elizabeth, the Lincoln Square restaurant owned by master forager Iliana Regan; The Lobby, the fine-dining room inside the Peninsula Chicago hotel; North Pond, the Lincoln Park restaurant whose absence from previous Michelin lists has been particularly conspicuous; and Senza, the gluten-free fine-dining restaurant in Lakeview.

Something special: Zanzibar’s underwater hotel room
Rooms in luxury hotels are reliably comfortable, but the cookie-cutter spread of marble-clad bathrooms and safe, conformist interiors found in high-end properties around the world mean they can often be indistinct. Not so the newly unveiled Manta Underwater Room located off Pemba Island in Zanzibar which, as the name suggests, is located some 13ft (four metres) beneath the surface of the Indian Ocean.
