Cookery queen Delia Smith has come bottom in a poll for Britain’s favourite celebrity chef. Leading food writer Nigel Slater came top, according to a new survey which reveals “profound changes” in the nation’s eating and cooking habits.

Parisian patisserie set to open in London’s Marylebone this December


Translating literally as “The Patisserie of Dreams”, La Patisserie des Rêves is the brainchild of pastry chef Phillippe Conticini and entrepreneur and hotelier Thierry Teyssier. With four shops already open in France, the brand will bring traditional French patisserie “with a modern twist” to the British capital.
