Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi and restaurateur Samyukta Nair have suddenly closed the doors of Mayfair bistro Socca.

France-born Claude, who runs two Michelin-starred Bibendum and Brooklands by Claude Bosi, teamed up with Samyukta to open Socca last year.

As recently as October they announced a series of upcoming chef collaborations with the likes of Brad Carter and Anna Sogaard, but the restaurant has now closed its doors for good.

The final service on South Audley Street came on Saturday (November 30).

A joint statement over the weekend from Samyukta and Claude read: “It is with a very heavy heart that we have decided to close Socca, and tonight will be our last service.

“Opening our doors back in 2023, Mayfair has become our home. A place for both locals and visitors to enjoy seasonally-led Provençale dishes.

“We want to say a huge thank you to all of those who have dined with us over the years, it has brought the team such joy to welcome so many.

“It has been an incredible journey.”
