This year the The Chocolate Show has introduced the UK's first ever Chocolate Dessert of the Year competition with the aim to bring together the UK's most talented chocolatiers to showcase their skills.

The competition puts pastry chefs in the spotlight and is an exclusive opportunity for restaurants and hotels to publicize their best chocolate desserts in front of the industry’s leading food writers, chocolate experts, and chocolate lovers alike.

Judged by a panel of highly acclaimed experts at the 20,000 visitor show, each dessert will be critiqued live with the winning dessert claiming the title of ‘Best Chocolate Dessert in the UK’.

Salon du Chocolat, organisers of the Chocolate show, have run a total of 194 events in 32 cities over the last 21 years that have welcomed over 8.2 million visitors. Their popularity and expertise in the field ensures visitors see new exciting and innovative features added each year. 2016 marks the fourth edition of The Chocolate Show in London, the UK's biggest and much loved celebration of chocolate, held at Olympia between 14 -16, October.

The competition is now open for entries.
