Chef+ has been nominated for Best Mobile Project in this year’s Wirehive 100 awards!
Our new app Chef+, in association with Essential Cuisine which launched in April, has been nominated for Best Mobile Project in this year’s Wirehive 100 awards. Celebrating the wealth of digital talent in the South of England and outside of London, the event is in its fifth year and The Staff Canteen is hoping to be there to celebrate the success of Chef+.
The app was revamped by Bespoke4Business, which offers the full digital marketing package for businesses. Chef+ has been downloaded by thousands of chefs around the UK and the world and they have been using it as a platform to share their recipes, images and news with each other.
Anthony Tilley, Sales Director at Bespoke4Business said: “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Wirehive 100 awards for the Chef+ app. The awards recognise the exciting work that is being done within the digital sector in the South East and it’s great for us to be involved. This is however, just the beginning of the Chef+ journey; there are many more features that we’re working on to further improve the user experience.”
We wanted all our members to be able to enjoy the best industry features, videos and news articles on the go - so we gave our
app, Chef+ a revamp. Perfect for time poor chefs the app will allow you to build a network of like-minded industry professionals quickly and all in one place so you can share images, videos of your latest dishes or simply great food you have seen with other chefs in your network, upload your latest menu items, watch the finest chefs cook their recipes and much more.
Mark Morris, Managing Director of The Staff Canteen said: “To be shortlisted is a great achievement, we are delighted that Chef+ has been recognised by Wirehive 100, something that all of us here at The Staff Canteen are very proud of and something we are looking forward to with our fingers crossed. Still our main focus is getting more chefs using the app, driving the product towards our goal of being in the pocket of every chef.”
The new app in association with Essential Cuisine is available to download for both android and iphone.
Neil Corlett, Director of Essential Cuisine said: “We’re delighted that Chef + has been nominated for Best Mobile Project. Its creation brings us even closer to working kitchens, putting us in the pockets of chef teams and providing inspiration, practical advice and a real sense of community for its members.”
