Loyal member of The Staff Canteen, executive chef and co-owner of Dublin's Nautilus Restaurant, Alan Higgins, has announced that it was set for a big change,10 years after he first joined the establishment.

End of an era. After 10 great years of Nautilus, its time for a change of direction and a new challenge. Thanks to all the customers we've had over the years. Twice named member of the month on The Staff Canteen, Alan Higgins held the reigns at the family-run, seafood-led restaurant with his wife Robyn, who ran front of house - and assumedly, will continue to do so at Sienna's.
He recently told The Staff Canteen that he viewed the lockdown as " time to spend with my family," which, he said, "I wouldn't normally get to do a lot.
"It's also a good time to do some research, better yourself and maybe learn a few new things. We are all in the same boat.
