Berkshire's award-winning L'Ortolan restaurant in Shinfield has been listed for sale for £1.25 million.
The property, which was recently listed on Savills' website, is a Grade II listed building and has been used by L’Ortolan for more than 20 years.
The restaurant was previously run by chef John Burton-Race for 13 years before being sold to Peter Newman in 2000.
Over the years L’Ortolan has recieved numerous awards including a Michelin Star, which it held from 2001 until 2022, as well as three AA rosettes.
According to Savills website, the property spans almost 6,000 sq ft and is arranged over three floors.
The property's ground and first floor features an 80 cover restaurant and extensive commercial kitchen, with a cellar located at the basement level, and a separate detached annexe which can be used as an office.
The property is decorated to a high specification with various private dining areas and a demo studio, as well as a large patio terrace, mature gardens and 40 car parking spaces.
The total site area is 1.1 acres and is advertised as a ‘rare opportunity’ and ‘freehold going concern’
At the time of publishing it is unclear why L'Ortolan's owner is looking to sell the property.
