Seven top chefs including Angela Hartnett, Giorgio Locatelli and Cyrus Todiwala will cook a spectacular seven-course feast in aid of national charity FoodCycle.

The seven course dinner will be themed on 'Green & Pleasent Land' and will take place at London Guildhall on Thursday, 21 April. Each chef, also including Shay Cooper, Skye Gyngell, Anna Hansen MBE and Ben Tish, will cook up their own course and will also be joined by the Observer’s food critic, Jay Rayner, who will host the evening and entertain guests with his band, The Jay Rayner Quartet.

Mary McGrath, Chief Executive of FoodCycle says, “with five Michelin stars, two MBEs and an OBE amongst our line-up of amazing chefs, the ‘Green & Pleasant Land’ dinner is set to be a fabulous evening.

“We are so excited for the big night and hope it will raise funds for our work, helping us to open more projects, serve more meals and support even more vulnerable people.”

All proceeds will go directly to FoodCycle, a national charity with 29 projects across the UK, which cooks surplus food into healthy, three-course meals for people at risk of social isolation.

Volunteers and guests from the local community eat the meals together, and for many vulnerable people a FoodCycle meal is the one chance a week they have to share food and conversation with others

Tickets are priced at £350 and tables at £3,500. For all enquiries and to purchase tickets, please contact Tess Timothy on tess@foodcycle.org.uk or call 020 7729 2775.
