It's been almost three months since we launched the new site, and we are delighted that we've increased our page views by over 80% with users visiting on average almost five pages a visit (4:72 to be exact) and visit duration is up to 3:22 per visit; so I think we can safely say that you're engaging with the site and our content which of course is great news, but it doesn't stop there.

Working with our development partners Ethos Digital we've been busy developing the site each month. Some of you may have seen this box appear, why you may ask? Well this is part of a longer term development plan to deliver content that is more relevant to you and your location, so that content is tailored more to you and your needs.

A new "Hamburger menu" has been introduced to the mobile site, giving us lots more real estate and making the content easier to see and the user experience a better one, so please let us know.

We've added related recent links to our news blogs and features just in case you missed something, now they’re easier to find.

Our features have gone through lots of changes too, you may have already noticed the info bars in some of the features. Watch as we roll these out across all the features, with each feature having a separate theme; keep your eyes peeled.

You can now click and expand the images through the whole feature, which allows you to look at the images all in one go on both the website and mobile site. Also another new update: all the chefs we feature will now link to the chef’s profile direct from an info graphic in the right hand column, so you can find their recipes and images quicker and simpler.

Who's noticed our member of the month update? Our members have always been the heartbeat of the site and hands up we need to celebrate you and your work more than we do, as our way of saying thank you from us all. To coincide with this we have also created a members photo album on Facebook, where we share those amazing pictures you post on your wall.

The next round of development will see large changes to both member and supplier profiles, but more about that next month.

Our goal this year is to continually push the website forward and develop it around you the user, giving you the opportunity to find content quicker. So it's full steam ahead here at cooking towers, let us know how we are doing?
