Alyn Williams has left The Wild Rabbit to focus on his Mayfair restaurant

Chef Alyn Williams has left The Wild Rabbit in Kingham so as to double down on operations at his own restaurant at The Westbury.

He joined the Cotswolds restaurant in May last year as chef patron, and worked there alongside former Simpsons chef Nathan Eades.

Alyn Williams released a statement saying that he was ‘delighted’ to be back at the Westbury.

“I had a brilliant with the team at The Wild Rabbit and we’ve ended on extremely amicable terms, but London is where my heart really lies. I’ve got an exceptionally talented kitchen brigade at The Westbury and I’m hugely excited for this new chapter.”

The Michelin-starred, four AA Rosette decorated restaurant launched in 2011, prior to which the chef spent ten years of hard graft for Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing.

The Wild Rabbit received its first Michelin star and three AA Rosettes when headed by Tim Allen in 2017, who has since moved on to become a partner at Daniel Clifford’s pub, the Flitch of Bacon.
