Adam said: "At the Devonshire Arms, even before I was here, they've had a week in November where they have brought different chefs to come and do different things. It's about trying to give our customers something different and this year we wanted to showcase people who are doing good things in the northern area.
"Kenny is having a fantastic year, what Tommy is doing is amazing and Steve Smith is doing great things. We are lucky enough that they can all come together for one night, it's a bit of fun and our customers can experience something you can't get everyday of the week."
The chefs will be doing a course each with the aim that they will deliver very different styles of food, customers will be treated to four dishes from four different restaurants all under one roof and Adam is excited to have them in the kitchen
"It's going to be a very different evening service," he explained. "It's always exciting to have people like that in, you can learn from what they are doing and it's nice to welcome them in to the hotel - hopefully they will take something from it as well.
"I really enjoy doing it, just to see different styles of food and they are always good fun with lots of banter! You get to see how different chefs interpret things and learn from it."
He added: "It would take you a few months to get round these four restaurants if you were a keen diner - this way you can experience the food in one night."

Northern chefs seem determined to put themselves on the map this year and Adam wants to celebrate and promote their success.
He said: "Working in London for ten years then coming up north, I was a little blinkered to it and I've had my eyes opened to how big the food scene is in the north. It's amazing at the minute and I think it's going from strength to strength. If you look at some of the restaurants around in the north and include Sat Bains in Nottingham up to Scotland - you have two 2 stars in there, places like The Raby Hunt which is knock out, lots of great restaurants doing good things."
He added: "It's actually quite exciting to see and I don't have to travel to London every time I want to go out to eat!"
There are still tickets available for 'An Evening with Four Northern Stars' on Wednesday, November 11. Email res@devonshirehotels.co.uk for more information.
