Trinity Restaurant, Clapham, will undergo a refurbishment over summer, re-opening in early September. The current restaurant will close its doors on Sunday, June 21 2015 and the refurbishment will see the addition of a new kitchen and another restaurant located upstairs.

Restaurant owner and head chef, Adam Byatt, said: “This renovation is all about an improved guest experience, positioning ourselves where I believe dining out is heading over the next ten years
and making our restaurant a place that our team can be even more proud of.

“We are incredibly excited to be continuing the Trinity journey and look forward to seeing you all after the summer.”

The refurbishment will offer diners a more intimate dining room, as well as a fully operational alfresco area. However, amongst these changes, the restaurant will maintain the same team, standards and approach to food and service that it prides itself on. The aim of the refurbishment is to repeat and improve upon the experience that the restaurant has offered in the past nine years.

For its last week, the restaurant will be offering a ‘thinned’ out wine list on Monday to Friday. After closing, the Trinity team will be taking residence at its sister restaurant, Bistro Union.

Since its opening, Trinity restaurant has seen some 300,000 guests, including 26 weddings, and have served up 60,000 portions of pig trotters and 15 tons of Shipton Mill flour.

Adam said: “I’m aware now that this restaurant means a great deal to a lot of people who have shared some warm memories here. I never imagined we would have created the South London landmark that we have become, but I am incredibly proud of what has been achieved here.”

Trinity Restaurant will keep people updated on the refurbishment through their social media channels and bookings for the new restaurant will be open from Saturday, August 1, 2015.
