Nationwide distribution deal agreed, as Alliance partners Classic Fine Foods

Newly re-branded New Zealand farming co-operative, Alliance, has today announced a UK-wide distribution partnership with Classic Fine Foods (www.classicfinefoods.co.uk).

The deal will enable Alliance to expand its reach and deliver its Pure South product range throughout southern England and the Midlands. Classic Fine Foods central London service is one of the most responsive services in the capital and is expanding its courier network to enable 48-hour delivery. Donna Smith, Alliance UK and Europe sales director comments:

“We are delighted to partner with Classic Fine Foods. With their strong position in the premium food market they are a trusted brand to deliver innovative and artisan products into fine dining establishments.”

Alliance’s Pure South range of lamb and venison is being entrusted to the Classic Fine Foods who will supply high-end restaurants, hotels, department stores and gourmet food outlets.

The range includes Pure South’s recently launched Te Mana lamb. A 21-day aged, free-range and grass-fed premium lamb, it has been bred in the New Zealand high country and emerged from an unprecedented 10-year programme. The result is an exquisite tender lamb with a delicate flavour palate and naturally elevated levels of Omega-3. Te Mana lamb breaks all the rules and is resetting the global lamb landscape with its unique fat profile and traditional flavour. Te Mana lamb boasts an intramuscular fat, with marbling on a micro-scale, never seen before in lamb, the fat marbling melts in the cooking process, improving flavour and texture. Emma Scott Aiton, sales director at Classic Fine Foods comments:

“Classic Fine Foods has always built its success on having the right partners, and Alliance is no exception. We look forward to a prosperous future working alongside the world’s best lamb company and their spectacular premium lamb brands such as Te Mana and Silere.”

She continues:
“We look forward to an exciting future working alongside a world-class red meat supplier such as Pure South and Alliance. Together we are building a partnership that chefs can rely on for top quality, specialist knowledge and flexibility. We have no doubt that we will have sensational results together.”

Pure South’s Te Mana lamb and Silere Alpine Merino are free-range and grass-fed, GMO free and raised without the use of antibiotics.
