Harlech Foodservice Expo Returns to Venue Cymru on 28th February & 1st March

The Harlech Foodservice Expo 2017 will see over 150 local, national and international exhibitors showcase a huge range of products over two days in one of North Wales’ leading venues. The Expo, held on Tuesday 28th February and Wednesday 1st March, is a chance to see and taste what the exhibitors have on offer for the coming season, with many showcasing new products for the first time.

One of the North West’s leading catering exhibitions, Harlech Expo presents a diverse mix of catering and hospitality exhibitors offering product tasting, menu inspiration and practical advice as well as showcasing new seasonal trends and presentation ideas. The event is a fantastic opportunity for industry professionals to sample products from a wide range of suppliers and after record breaking attendance last year the Harlech Expo 2017 is set to be bigger and better than ever before.

There will be at least 30 more suppliers at this years’ event with artisan producers alongside many big name brands and everything from craft beer producers to chocolatiers in attendance. Harlech’s award winning Bwydlyn Butchers, producers of fine meats and specialists in 21 day mature Welsh Beef and superior Welsh Lamb, will be there offering samples of some of the very best of British meat.

Steve Williams, Harlech’s in-house development chef, will again be on hand to impart his expert knowledge and demonstrate some technical wizardry with his cutting edge kitchen gadgets on the Chef’s Cuisine stand. His modern gastronomy demos are entertaining and inspiring and were hugely popular last year. Steve is looking forward to putting on a show again this year and will be joined by a number of renowned guest chefs including Sam Rain, Preston Walker and one of Gordon Ramsey’s former Head Chefs, Mark Sargent who will all be putting on cookery demos throughout the show. Further guest chefs are yet to be announced.

It’s the 4th year that the Expo has been held in Llandudno after outgrowing its previous home. Venue Cymru provides the perfect location for the event which is attended by thousands of industry professionals from hundreds of hotels, restaurants, pubs and cafés across North and mid-Wales, as well as Cheshire, Shropshire and Merseyside.

The show is an opportunity for trade customers to take advantage of exclusive special offers with some suppliers offering up to 60% off on selected lines. With fine wine master classes, free goodie bags, prize draws and giveaways, along with help and advice from industry professionals, the Expo is an excellent event and a must for anyone in the catering and hospitality industry.
