The Staff Canteen Live is set to make its debut at The Hospitality Show 2015 (NEC Birmingham, 19th-21st January) building on a rich culinary history, while adding a stimulating new dimension of kitchen demonstrations and advice from big name chefs.
Names confirmed so far for the event, being held in conjunction with speciality produce supplier, Westlands, include: Michelin starred chef, Adam Stokes, Chef Patron of Midsummer House, Daniel Clifford, Executive Chef Gary Jones and Head Pastry Chef, Benoit Blin, both from Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, respectively.
The Staff Canteen Live will be running regular sessions every day of the three-day show with a changing line-up of chefs providing visitors with interactive demonstrations, recipe guidance and cooking tips.
Each session will be streamed live on The Staff Canteen’s YouTube channel and will culminate by offering show visitors the chance to interact with the chefs on a range of food and cooking-related topics.
Toby Wand, Managing Director at Fresh Montgomery comments: “The Staff Canteen Live is an exciting new feature for The Hospitality Show and a real coup for next year’s event. Not only will visitors get the unique opportunity to watch and learn from some of the best in the business – they will also be able to enter into a Q&A, to address some of their own challenges in the kitchen.
“This allied to the pomp and theatre of Salon Culinaire – truly one of the world’s premier cooking competitions – only serves to strengthen our proposition, making the show a must visit for anyone with an interest in the culinary arts.”
Mark Morris, Managing Director of The Staff Canteen, said: “We are delighted to be expanding The Staff Canteen Live brand and see our partnership with Fresh Montgomery as the next chapter in that journey.
“Our focus on delivering the best chefs in the UK is still our main driver and the line-up we have gathered certainly delivers that. We plan on making the event format more informal, more interactive and great fun: that is key to The Staff Canteen Live.”
