Entries now open for Springboard Awards for Excellence 2015

Hospitality charity Springboard has opened entries for its 2015 Awards for Excellence, celebrating the best work carried out in the hospitality sector this year.

The Awards aim to honour and reward those who strive to attract talent to the hospitality industry and develop and promote it in the best way possible, as well as those with a commitment to upholding the best company practices.

Springboard’s CEO Anne Pierce MBE said that the awards would recognize the very best in the industry.  She explained: “The process of entering the awards will help businesses identify their achievements as organisations and the outstanding work carried out by the individuals within it. Winning an award has a significant and positive impact on both business and your employees.”

Last year’s winners included: Accor UK & Ireland Hotels, PPHE Hotel Group, Oakman Inns & Restaurants Ltd and Alastair Storey, who received the coveted Chris Beaumont Award.
Celebrating their 25th year in 2015, Springboard works with the industry in helping the young and unemployed into sustainable employment in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industries. They offer services such as specialist careers information, work experience opportunities and mentoring programmes.
